Sid Hanover started the business in 1988 working out of his garage. Over the years he built a reputation for quality work and service building hundreds of kitchens in Moose Jaw and surrounding area. 29 years later Sid relinquished his ownership to begin his retirement.

As the business grew, Sid added quality employees and state of the art equipment. Jason Cushway joined the company in 2009 and his brother Joe Cushway was added in 2010. After becoming partners, the following year, Jason and Joe Cushway have now taken the lead as owners of Hanover Cabinets keeping the name as deserved.

Jason, like Sid, is a Red Seal Journeyman cabinet maker and brings 30 plus years of experience from working in both commercial woodworking and custom cabinetry. His knowledge of kitchen design and installation is shown on each and every project.

Joe has 12 plus years’ experience in our company with many more as a lead hand and management. He is in charge of production, which involves all the cutting, machining, banding and assembly of the cabinets. He also runs our CNC router, which is our latest and most important piece of equipment.

Hanover Cabinets is based in Moose Jaw; however, we work in a variety of locations throughout Saskatchewan.  If you dream it we can build it.  We have happy clients throughout Saskatchewan including, Buffalo Pound Lake, Moose Jaw, Mortlach, Regina, Weyburn, Swift Current, Saskatoon, Assiniboia and rural farms throughout Saskatchewan. 

 

Staff

Mike Charters has 20 years experience in painting and cabinet finishing. He is one of the best in the business, turning out an exceptional finish in his full-sized woodworking paint booth.

Dylan Lehne has been with us for over 7 years now and is working towards his Red Seal Cabinet maker – in his 3rd year as an apprentice. Dylan now works as our lead installer.

Colin Cameron is our newest employee.  Colin has been hired to work our bench assembly department.  He has an elevated work ethic to ensure we are supplying a quality product to our customers.
